Our vision is to grow and develop learners into mature, well rounded learners, ready for High School
We aim to develop confident, resilient individual learners who can contribute to their local community.
We aim to forge strong links with parents/guardians and the wider society in order to create a synergy for national transformation and global impact. To walk hand in hand with our parents/ guardians because it takes both to train up a child in the way he/she should go.
We aim to express the values of the kingdom of God through modern and effective educational practices thus causing the national lifestyle to be more closely aligned to God. We believe that bringing moral values into all our personal lives will develop a future generation that will be equipped to change the fragmented nature of South African society into one that honours each person as a unique and special individual, worthy of respect.

High Quality Academic Curriculum

A holistic education wouldn’t be complete without high quality academics.
At Global Academy we aim to offer a balanced academic curriculum by developing the whole person ( their physical, mental, and emotional health)while providing opportunities for learners to get creative, work in teams, and learn how to lead. We strive to offer an effective academic programme under the framework of the CAPS curriculum. Our aim is to help each learner attain his or her full academic potential through the development of skills, the encouragement of creativity and the assumption of responsibility. We aim to create well-rounded, resilient and independent young people who are able to apply their skills in an ever changing world.

Our combination of small classes ensures learners build the skills they need to succeed in high school. Our class sizes of 12 - 16 learners per class help to facilitate individual attention for all learners. As a result we are able to extend the brighter learner and help those learners that need more help to succeed.

Extra-curricular activities

At Global Academy our aim is to adopt a more "holistic” educational approach, which focuses on helping our learners develop their intellectual, social, emotional, spiritual and physical qualities they need to live a fulfilling life. To do this we offer a wide variety of programs like sport activities, drama/music and arts and crafts.
Activities offered: Athletics, netball, hockey, arts and crafts club, drama club, speech club, STEM club, chess club and choir

Language

Global Academy is an English medium school however the GAE learners are made up of a diverse language community. In the smaller classes we are able to assist the learners whose home language is not English.

Learner Support Classes

To help all our learners attain their full academic potential, we offer learning support classes. Here learners with literacy, basic numeracy and reading problems are assisted to improve. These classes are offered during school time and learners attend these classes until they have achieved the required level of competency for their Grade.
